The Lighthouse is the only 24-hour homeless shelter in a 50-mile radius.

Our Story

The Lighthouse has been a beacon of hope for Bartlesville and the surrounding communities for over 30 years, and we’ve seen God change hundreds of lives. And He is still working here! We don’t just provide a hot meal and a place to sleep (although that’s important). Our goal is to help each of our residents find hope in Jesus Christ and rebuild their lives.

Our Director
Errol Hada

Errol has been a part of the Lighthouse for over 30 years. He and his family moved to Bartlesville in 1991, right before the Lighthouse opened its doors. His church began serving a meal here once a month, and Errol would preach a message to the residents. He served on the board for many years before becoming our director in 2013.

Before coming to the Lighthouse, Errol had a 40-year career in education as a teacher and administrator. He and his wife, Sharon, have three daughters and 13 grandchildren. Errol has served on more than 35 short-term mission trips, and he and Sharon are active in prison ministry.
