New Women's Case Manager

Kara Paylor recently joined the Lighthouse family as Women’s Case Manager and has taken on the responsibility of helping women gain structure and confidence in their lives, and providing a listening ear. She also helps with organizing activities for residents and coordinating volunteer services.

Originally from Oklahoma City, Kara and her husband Morgan, who is a mechanic with Phoenix Rising Aviation in Bartlesville, moved to this area just over a year ago.

“I am proud to say I am a ‘recovering addict.’ I have been a drug and alcohol abuser since I was 18. I have been in recovery for over a year after suffering a brain stem stroke in December of 2022. Most people don’t speak, walk, or recover after this type of stroke, but miraculously, I have recovered. I now believe my one purpose in life is to help others find their way to the Lord and sobriety. After years in the cycle of addiction and recovery, I am finally living my purpose in my work here at the Lighthouse.”
